Welcome to HomeSchool Harmony. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HomeSchool Harmony ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HomeSchool Harmony is a mobile application that helps homeschool families plan, schedule, and track their school days. The App provides tools for managing school years, students, subjects, and daily lesson schedules.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You may create only one account per person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools to access the App (scraping, bots, etc.)
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (student data, schedules, etc.).
• You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter.

6. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its code, design, and branding, is the property of HomeSchool Harmony and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

7. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for any educational outcomes or scheduling decisions made using the App.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HomeSchool Harmony and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
• We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
